The Franklin Borough
School library subscribes to several online reference sources which can
be accessed from your class and your home computers by using the
following addresses, user names and passwords.
Middle Search Plus
has full text articles from nearly 140 popular middle school
periodicals, over 300,000 images, 85,000 full text biographies and more
than 100,000 primary source documents.
Searchasaurus
has an exciting, animated interface with a dinosaur theme that
encourages primary grade students to develop basic search methodologies.
This interface has full text for 80 popular elementary school
magazines, two children's encyclopedias, and nearly 300,000 photos, maps
and flags,
NoveList is a reader's advisory
service which has a database of over 220,000 fiction titles and over
60,000 nonfiction titles. The easy to use Find Box quickly links the
readers to different titles, authors, series, and lists that may be
their next favorite read.
